Un episodio di violenza ha turbato il clima festivo del Villaggio di Babbo Natale in piazza Umberto. Nel tardo pomeriggio di ieri, lunedì 23 dicembre, un addetto alla sicurezza di 25 anni è stato ferito al petto con un coltello durante una lite scaturita da una richiesta di denaro da parte di un visitatore.
Secondo quanto ricostruito, l’aggressore, successivamente fermato e condotto al comando della Polizia locale, avrebbe inizialmente chiesto una foto all’uomo travestito da Babbo Natale. Subito dopo, però, avrebbe preteso del denaro, scatenando una discussione accesa con l’addetto alla sicurezza, culminata nell’aggressione.
La vittima, ferita al petto, è stata prontamente soccorsa dai sanitari del 118 e trasportata al Policlinico di Bari, dove è stata medicata. Per fortuna, le sue condizioni non destano preoccupazione e non è in pericolo di vita. Il presunto aggressore, fermato dalla polizia locale, avrebbe accusato un malore durante l’interrogatorio ed è stato anch’egli trasferito in ospedale per accertamenti.
Le forze dell’ordine stanno lavorando per chiarire i dettagli dell’accaduto e ricostruire con esattezza la dinamica della lite. L’episodio, avvenuto in un luogo simbolo della festa e dell’aggregazione cittadina, ha scosso i visitatori presenti, suscitando preoccupazione tra i cittadini.
