Durante l’ospitata di Cecilia Strada nel suo podcast Muschio Selvaggio, Fedez ha espresso l’intenzione di mettere la sua firma nel mondo delle Ong e, per non essere di meno rispetto a chi l’ha preceduto, ha dichiarato davanti alla figlia del padre di Emergency che intende informarsi sul costo di una nave. È noto che il rapper non voglia essere secondo a nessuno, nemmeno al collega Ghali, che un anno fa ha acquistato una lancia di salvataggio per la nave Ong Mediterranea, con annesso crowdfunding. Ma Fedez non si accontenta di spararla grossa, perché contestualmente ha annunciato che salirà a bordo della ResQ, dell’omonima Onlus, per una missione nel Mediterraneo.
“Voglio vedere quanto costa una nave, voglio anche io la mia solo per metterci la mia faccia e farla vedere per far spaventare”, dice Fedez tra il serio e il faceto. Non sarebbe ovviamente niente di nuovo, se si considera che l’artista Banksy anni fa ha acquistato il motoscafo veloce, ribattezzato Louise Michel, che oggi è in uso a una Ong spagnola. Fedez potrebbe limitarsi a fare una donazione a una Ong, come Cecilia Sala ha detto che ha fatto Roger Waters, versando ben 50mila euro nelle tasche di ResQ per i salvataggi in mare. Invece no, il rapper proprio non riesce a contenere la sua vena egocentrica, ha bisogno di esibirsi e di mostrarsi, addirittura pensando di mettere la sua faccia su una nave.
Cecilia Strada ha annunciato che la nave ResQ tornerà in mare tra qualche settimana, senza fornire indicazioni precise sul ritorno nel Mediterraneo centrale. “Se riesco vengo”, ha risposto il rapper, elevandosi a megafono di propaganda per le navi della società civile che, nonostante si sostenga il contrario, godono del supporto ampio e diffuso dei principali media mainstream. Non sarebbe certo Fedez con i suoi social a fare la differenza dal lato di un’organizzazione di questo tipo ma, di nuovo, il marito della Ferragni non riesce a non mettere se stesso al centro della narrazione: “Secondo me ha senso venire perché potrei dare la mia testimonianza, far vedere a più persone possibili quello che non si vede. Credo che questa possa essere la mia utilità”.
