Diventa esecutiva, con una sentenza della Corte di Cassazione emessa ieri, la confisca del ‘Castello delle Cerimonie’, noto anche come ‘La Sonrisa’, grande struttura ricettiva che si trova a Sant’Antonio Abate, nel Napoletano, diventata molto conosciuta al pubblico come ‘location’ di una nota serie tv andata in onda su Real Time e dedicata ai festeggiamenti per i matrimoni e altre ricorrenze. La Suprema Corte, oltre a rendere esecutiva la parte della sentenza inerente la confisca, ha anche sancito la prescrizione dei reati contestati agli indagati. La vicenda giudiziaria della ‘Sonrisa’ è iniziata nel 2011: gli inquirenti contestarono una lunga serie di abusi edilizi realizzati, secondo le indagini, a partire dal 1979, su un’area ampia oltre 40mila metri quadri. La confisca interessa gli immobili e i terreni su cui sorge la struttura ricettiva, che saranno acquisiti nel patrimonio immobiliare del Comune di Sant’Antonio Abate. Con la sentenza del tribunale di Torre Annunziata (Napoli), emessa nel 2016, venne condannata a un anno di reclusione (pena sospesa) Rita Greco, defunta moglie del “Boss delle Cerimonie” Tobia Antonio Polese, e per Agostino Polese, suo fratello, che ricopriva la carica di amministratore della società. La sentenza di primo grado venne riformata in parte dalla Corte d’Appello di Napoli e da ieri la sentenza è passata in giudicato con il pronunciamento della Cassazione.
